By submitting to CAFx open calls, participants grant CAFx the right to store, process, and use the submitted information for the purposes of evaluation, communication, and event organization. This includes but is not limited to personal information, project descriptions, images, and other materials provided during the submission process.
Participants retain the intellectual property rights to their submitted work. However, by participating in CAFx open calls, participants grant CAFx a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, distribute, and display the submitted materials for promotional, educational, and documentation purposes related to CAFx events and activities.
CAFx commits to handling all submitted information in accordance with applicable data protection laws and regulations. Personal data collected through open calls will be processed as outlined in our Privacy Policy and will only be shared with jury members and relevant CAFx staff members involved in the selection process.
CAFx reserves the right to make all final decisions regarding the selection of submissions. The decision of the jury is final and binding. CAFx is not obligated to provide detailed feedback on unsuccessful submissions.
Participants must ensure that all submitted materials are their original work or that they have obtained necessary permissions for any third-party content. Participants are responsible for the accuracy and truthfulness of all submitted information.
These additional terms regarding open call participation are effective as of January 1, 2025.
