Passing By
Tbilisi has a lot if underground crossing for pedestrians and it's role and only purpose was to help people cross the roads with intensive car traffic. However, with time they have turned into multifunctional public spaces, places where people communicate with each other - shops, beauty salons, ateliers, pharmacies and many more. At the same time, at night, the underground crossing transforms into absolutely different space - dark and dangerous, especially for women. The film explores the underground crosses from all sides of its multifunctional meanings.

Men falling from the sky
The film traces fragments of my journey to Tirana. The camera keeps running between racking images detecting the current transformation of the city's urban environment. The construction workers seem like men falling from the sky, forming an ephemeral landmark: moving and tiny vertical elements arising from the naked facades, reminders of the human dimension.

Reclaiming The Streets
The streets of Baku used to be full of kids and young people filling them with joy and now we are reclaiming the streets for the use of different human activities! The film is mostly shot in the central streets of Baku where roads are very narrow and cars are allowed to park and commute. Sidewalks are insanely narrow and interrupted by many parked cars and artificial plants. The street design makes it very hard to walk and pass by.
