Hong Kong was claimed to be one of the most energetic cities in the globe with the vase varieties of building environments to meet its dynamic demands of cultural, ethical and demographic diversity. The ever changing city is currently experiencing gradual gentrification. More and more historical buildings were revamped into commercial purposes, while some were converted to cultural grounds. The film discusses the juxtaposition of the development and conservation through a journey of the everyday working class that eventually discovers the disappearance of heritage around the cities. The hybrid management model seeks the balance and solutions of conservation and maintenance. This model making conservation projects works well as 'purikura'- a great selfie machine, but inevitably deprived the core values of local culture. As stakeholders contributing the society, we shall all consider what was “left behind” the revitalization.

Natur Park Amager, an urban nature park in the south of Copenhagen offers many ways to enter nature. In this short film Johnny shares how walking the Amarmino trail helps him recharge and renew. Even if urban parks in theory are accessible to everyone, much is still needed to make them both more sustainable and more accessible. In this ongoing project I ask how more people can get access to nature experiences in the city, and what is needed to use these natural resources in a more sustainable way.

In this short video I explored the topic of inclusion through my personal experience by learning Shqip language and local food names. Through many contacts with local people, I have found out that strangers become more cordial and friendly when I approach them in their own language and show a keen interest in learning it. I got — included. Language can be a barrier between strangers, and it can also be what unites them. Food brings people together and at the same time, it operates as an expression of cultural identity. Learning the language and getting to know the names of the local dishes of the country I’m visiting is my way of showing to the strangers that I care about their traditions and their culture. Often, only because of showing that interest, I get included in strangers’ lives or even invited to unexpected events. Strangers become acquaintances, acquaintances become friends.
