Natur Park Amager, an urban nature park in the south of Copenhagen offers many ways to enter nature. In this short film Johnny shares how walking the Amarmino trail helps him recharge and renew. Even if urban parks in theory are accessible to everyone, much is still needed to make them both more sustainable and more accessible. In this ongoing project I ask how more people can get access to nature experiences in the city, and what is needed to use these natural resources in a more sustainable way.

In this short video I explored the topic of inclusion through my personal experience by learning Shqip language and local food names. Through many contacts with local people, I have found out that strangers become more cordial and friendly when I approach them in their own language and show a keen interest in learning it. I got — included. Language can be a barrier between strangers, and it can also be what unites them. Food brings people together and at the same time, it operates as an expression of cultural identity. Learning the language and getting to know the names of the local dishes of the country I’m visiting is my way of showing to the strangers that I care about their traditions and their culture. Often, only because of showing that interest, I get included in strangers’ lives or even invited to unexpected events. Strangers become acquaintances, acquaintances become friends. Azerbaijan

The film is about a woman who tries to seek help from her friend during her menstrual cycle. On her way to the doctor, she faces the challenges of a poorly planned road plan, and the poor conditions of the public transport she is taking add up to her struggles. Many conservative families are against women becoming intimate with men before marriage. The situation brings a lot of shame and struggles for women when they try to seek help from gynecologists. Also, the film addresses the challenges women face in public transport and public spaces during menstruation.

This short orangerie depicts the seasonal growth of Albanian citruses and the warm-hearted fruit sellers hidden behind the even faster growing townscape of Tirana, who supply the capital with short food supply chain Vitamine C from the region.
