Come and enjoy the Architecture as Character Conference Dinner at the Institute for (X). Join us for the walk to the instituteand get a first hand experience of one of the most progressive co-creation labs and city planning projects in Northern Europe.

Food is served beginning from 18.30 and is facilitated by Smag à la Gellerup (taste of Gellerup). Gellerup is a huge modernist housing area on the outskirts of Aarhus, which is currently undergoing redevelopment.

The conference Archi Party dinner is free for conference participants and includes one complimentary soft drink/beer.

20.00-01.00 AARHUS ARCHITECTURE FESTIVAL LAUNCH + PUBLIC PARTY

At 20.00 the Institute of (X) welcomes you to the Aarhus Architecture Festival opening party, which includes a festival kick-off performance by the musician and artist Static Teller and arch-crispy music by the DJs Our Friend and Spin Doctor as well as resident DJs.

The bar will be open, offering modest prices and late-night Palestinian food will be served until 01.00.

16.30-19.00      ITALIAN FRIDAY BAR + YAP LECTURE

Come and experience the spectacular new building, restaurant and office by SLETH at Sonnesgade 11. Join the Friday bar, enjoy Italian tapas in the restaurant, and get updated by architect, curator Pippo Ciorra from MAXXI Museum in Rome, on the promising new architectural offices identified in the YAP MAXXI Programme that promotes and supports young architecture. MAXXI leads the international collaboration which includes the institutions MoMA/MoMA PS1 in New York, Constructo of Santiago de Chile, Istanbul Modern and MMCA National Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art of Seoul in Korea.


Price 150 DKK (not included in the conference fee).
Tickets for the lecture, tapas, and wine are sold via aafx.dk and at the entrance.
